Organiser
The European Health Forum Gastein, Tauernplatz 1, 5630 Bad Hofgastein, Austria is the organiser of the conference European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) 2022, which will be held from 26 - 29 September 2022 in Bad Hofgastein, Austria. The organiser is responsible for registration services and is hereafter referred to as the EHFG. These General Terms and Conditions are valid for each delegate registered for the European Health Forum Gastein 2022.
Registration
Online registration closing date: 24 September 2022, 24.00 CET
Confirmation of registration
A registration confirmation will be sent by email after the completion of the registration process and you will receive the link to our streaming platform prior the conference.
Language
The official conference language at the EHFG is English.
Modification of the programme
The EHFG organisers reserve the right to modify the programme after publication.
Certificate of attendance
A certificate of attendance for registered participants can be issued after the conference. Please contact the EHFG team under office@ehfg.org
Data protection and sharing of contact details
The acquisition, handling and the utilisation of all personal registration data is executed within the guidelines of the Austrian data protection regulations.
The EHFG will collect and store all data for the preparation and execution of the conference. The participants’ names, titles, affiliations and countries will be provided on request to partners. The delegates will be asked to tick a box for their consent to be included. Furthermore, the EHFG will use the contact data and supply delegates with information around the EHFG and EHFG co-organised events. The delegates will be asked to tick a box for their consent to be informed by email. Please also be aware that by booking you agree that personal data needed for all of your bookings will be forwarded to our co-working companies such as the streaming company.
Only authorised EHFG employees are permitted to access personal information for performing their duties in respect of our services. Our server and network have intrusion detection systems and protected by firewalls against unauthorised access.
Liability
The organiser shall be held liable in the framework of a duty of care as a respectable businessman according to statutory provisions. The liability of the EHFG – for whatever legal reason – shall be limited to intent and gross negligence. The attendee shall take part in the conference at his/her own risk. Oral agreements shall not be binding if these have not been confirmed in writing by the EHFG.
Cancellation of the EHFG 2022
In the event that the EHFG 2022 cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the organiser (force majeure), or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the organisers, they cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs or losses incurred such as financial losses, etc.
Place of jurisdiction
In the event of anyegal dispute arising from this agreement, the partners relevant to this agreement shall be subject exclusively to the law and jurisdiction of the local court competent to make judgement in such matters where the association is registered in Bad Hofgastein and shall refrain from seeking any other place of jurisdiction. The present agreement shall be governed by Austrian law, without regard to conflicts of law provisions (e.g. the Austrian IPRG or the "UN-Kaufrecht").
